Abercrave WI May 2014

Abercrave is only 7 miles from where we live, and it was a privilege to show our costumes to representatives of five regional WIs in the charming and atmospheric Miner's Welfare Hall in Abercrave. It was not difficult to imagine the talent, entertainment and social energy that had filled the old building in the past, and we felt honoured to be a part of it now. There were several new costumes to be seen today, and for the first time, each of the costumed ladies was photographed in front of a green screen, and those images used with special backgrounds to create a more exciting and interesting display. Thank you Abercrave. We enjoyed meeting you, and we hope you enjoyed our performance.
