Neath Antiquarian Society

Neath Antiquarian Society is located in Neath's old Town Hall (erected 1820). This charming and fascinating building was an ideal venue for our presentation. Well publicised through the society's own web site, there was a substantial attendance. Unusually for our events, there were more men there than women. At first we were concerned that we might not grasp their interest, but we need not have worried! Not only did they appear to enjoy the performance, but they were ready with questions, which kept us busy until well after the performance had ended. For sure, if we are invited back, we will take men's costumes too. Thank you to the seven ladies who swelled the ranks of our costume displayers.
