Ty Twyn Teg, 23rd September 2015

The Ladies appeared yesterday at Ty Twyn Teg residential home in Caewern, Neath at the invitation of Ty Twyn Teg Resident's Association as part of their fundraising for Macmillan Nurses. We looked forward to this event as there were two new costumes to be shown, and there was a rumour that one of the male residents was keen to get involved. This was not a concern for us as we have a few gents outfits. It has been a busy year for June, and with the exception of the Queen Victoria outfit, no-one who has seen the show more than a year previously will have seen any of the other costumes before. It was another memorable presentation, with outstanding involvement from the ladies and gentlemen who modelled the costumes or made up the enthusiastic audience. We left after more than two hours at the venue, having really enjoyed ourselves, and with a comments book bursting with compliments!
