Llansamlet WI, Briton Ferry, 1st December 2015

This was our first visit to the Llansamlet group, and what a great evening it was! We had new dresses to show off and a large, enthusiastic group to work with although we have long since come to expect this! We also had the great privilege of working on a fully fitted professional stage, complete with backdrops, lighting and sound equipment. In these last weeks leading up to Christmas, June had experimented with fitting 12v lighting to two of her ball gowns, so that they produced a sparkling effect in the variable lighting that exists on stage. The results were worth the effort, and the photos do not do them full justice. Next time they will be even better.
