Studio Shoot 3rd November 2017
When June makes a new costume, we always try it out on a willing model to see how it looks, feels and photographs. Usually this is a matter of throwing up the green screen in our living room and June parading up and down in front of it. This time, June had three new outfits; a light cream costume based on Queen Victoria's wedding dress, worked from photos of the real thing, and two day dresses from the 1830 to 1840 era. We were fortunate in being able to tap into the services of Amy, a model, and Sarah, a makeup artist. Both loaned to us by Carl Ryan, local photographer. We are also grateful to Richie Crossley, owner of Chic Studios (Swansea) who allowed us the use of his professional studio.
