Park Lane Pensioners' Club 21st August 2018

We have been to Park Lane several times before, and have always been impressed by the sheer enthusiasm of its group members. Never the easiest place to park the car, we have never been short of willing hands to unload all our kit (and there is a LOT of it!). This was a special visit as we were commemorating the 100th anniversaries of the suffragist movement and the end of the First World War. It has been a very emotional year for us as we depict in commemoration these two events, and it has been evident that the people who invite us into their groups are equally moved. It has also given us opportunities to venture into areas of costume that are new to us. We gain, and I hope that we give, so much pleasure with what we do.
